“The Moderate Flow” depicts the last sonic stage of Wisdom Tree. It combines the typical approach to composition of the band, focused on improvisation, with meticulous attention to details in the post-production phase. The foundations are a powerful and defined bass line and a pressing dance drum beat. The guitar, which sits on the top, plays chords with a funk flavor, as well as enriching the whole with melodic nuances that support the vocal melodies. The main section of the piece is completed by a variation that breaks the previous rhythm, finally culminating in a dreamy but energetic atmosphere, which reflects the final illumination described by the lyrics. The song deals with the need to let life flow, and not being paralyzed by social pressures and ambitions.
